We believe that programming has a great potential as a tool for
understanding the world and a means of exploring and exchanging
ideas. Sadly, the modern programming tools are both too complex
and too limited for programming to become a valuable part of our
every-day culture. We are working to change that.
Our developments
Interactive books - we are currently working on the
development of interactive books. In the recent two decades,
there has been a tremendous progress when it comes to the
development of e-book readers and other mobile devices. This
technological development did not cause the medium of a book
to evolve, even though there seems to be a great space for
exploration. We are currently exploring the potential value
that adding small interactions to books may provide.
GRASP is the programming environment for the future
— both because of the audacity of its vision and its
current development progress. Although GRASP hasn't yet been
released, you can find its sources and a build
instructions here (nerds only). You can also follow the
advancements in the form of short videos on
our youtube channel.
Literky is a free application for children to learn
the alphabet. It was written during a game jam back in 2024 as
an exploration of the capabilities of GRASP for casual app
creation. Currently it can be found
on itch.io, but we're working on getting it
to the Google Play Store.
